23/7/08 — Acquisition — Boston, Museum of Fine Arts — Antoine Francois Callet’s morceau d’agrement, (ill.), which we had reported as having reappeared at an auction in Belgium under the name of Louis-Jean-Francois Lagrenee (see news item of 18/11/07) where it was acquired by the Didier Aaron Gallery which then exhibited at the Maastricht Fair (see article of 8/3/08) has now been purchased by this Boston museum.
