Publication of issue n° 10 of the online journal In Situ

local/cache-vignettes/L289xH174/In_Situ-983a7.jpg23/7/09 – Internet – Publication – The fear was that after the offices of the Inventaire général were scattered the journal In Situ, which appears only online, would stop publishing.

This is not the case as every year a new “volume” of the journal is posted on the web and has now reached n° 10, devoted to scientific heritage. Although the subject does not seem to fall under The Art Tribune’s field, at least one article does, that on Parisian amphitheatres.
Of special interest are the Varia articles presented in every issue which offer new discoveries. The latest one examines a serie of illustrious women by Guy François, until now unpublished, as well as a statuette from the early 15th century held at the Hôpital général in Dijon.
