4/01/10– Acquisitions – Paris, Musee des Arts Decoratifs –Last January (see news item of 26/1/09) we had already spoken of the fund drive launched by the Ministry of Culture in its search for a patron to help in the acquisition of a series of 176 drawings from the Manufacture of Jean-Baptiste-Claude Odiot for the Musee des Arts Decoratifs.

The drive was successfully concluded as the collection was finally acquired by this museum, for the estimated amount of 1.2 million euros half of which was provided by loans from the Patrimoine fund and the other by two patrons, companies which have for the moment remained anonymous [1]
We hope this spectacular acquisition will soon be highlighted by a corresponding exhibition and catalogue.
